About Me:
I work full time for The Longaberger Company. I have been married 26 years. We have 2 grown sons. And I love being able to create again. It took a co-worker to get me back to my inner artist. She got me involved with scrapbooking with her friends. Another co-worker sells for Stampin' Up! So I started into that. Then I started going to different conventions and now I have landed where I am supposed to be. Altered Art. And I Love It!!
Where I'm from:
I was born in Ohio. Raised in California. Now I'm back in Ohio.
About my Art:
I love color and texture. I like a "shabby chic" look to things. My husband and I have always antiqued, so I love to use vintage things in my art. I have just sent back a traveling journal to Serendipity in CA. It was a lot of fun. I am doing postcards with another group on yahoo. I am a CTMH consultant and am doing some swaps there too.
My Favorite Website: (Boast about yours!)
http://www.tuscanrose.com
Another Website Favorite: (Yours- a blog?)

Another? (yours again.....flickr?)

Where am I going?
I am going to take some online classes for PhotoShop and some other software programs and I am going to try to get into the graphic design field within the next few years, maybe even with Longaberger.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my altered dictionary. Can't say I came up with the idea on my own, but I loved it and am doing my thing with it. It's great to think on all the blessings in your life. I'm on G for garden right now. I used to have a lovely picket fence garden many years ago. When I started working fulltime it went to weeds. We worked on it last weekend and found several old english rose bushes. One I had planted in honor of my mom "Evelyn", it's a gorgeous yellow, with a spicy floral aroma. I hope it blooms. Here in Central Ohio we have to wait until late June to early July for our roses.
Anyways we found the garden again and are planning to try to re-develop it into something lovely again. I'll keep you posted.

Deb: I live in San Diego and hear about Serendipity all the time but never have been....must do that. I love your altered dictionary pages...what could be a better canvas for altering than a dictionary so you can focus your art on a specific word. beautiful.

My picture is on talk like a pirate day last year. We all got Long John Silver's hats and wore them.
I am working on an altered Dictionary right now. It's titled Life's Blessings. I'll do some scans soon and add them.
