About Me:: I work in telecommunications and enjoy traveling, reading, and making things. I am a fanatic of all things Disney. My office walls are adorned with vintage attraction posters from the parks. One of my bucket list items is to visit each of the Disney resorts. So far I've been to Orlando, Anaheim and Paris. Three down, two to go.

Where I'm from:: Atlanta, GA USA

About my Art:: I'm a relatively new artist who enjoys playing in fused glass, mosaic tile work and altered books. If I had a clue about how to sew I would love to get into costuming. I've done a little of it, but pretty much "costuming lite" so far.

For an art journal with a theme of fetish, I made this corset out of vinyl. The ruffle is pink duct tape and the lace is neon pink yarn.

Classes?

So it seems I have an airline ticket I need to use and it occurred to me it might be a good opportunity to take a class or attend a workshop. I've just found the info for Art Unraveled and I'm not far enough into it yet to know if it's too late or not. Are there other classes or workshops you know of that I might consider? I'd like to do something before the end of the year. Thanks!

Question for y'all

Okay, here's a question for y'all. How do you deal with that idea that you had and you just couldn't pull off? Maybe you ended up doing a "lesser" version?
