- About Me:
- I am Tina Swain, and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am a mother to three girls ( all grown now ) and by the end of this year I will be a grandmother (yikes!) to three. Where did the time go? All my life I have been into the arts and crafts field....I think due to the fact that it was easier to make than to buy..It came in quite handy.
Now though I get to make ART just for the simple enjoyment and I have to say , This has got to be what life is really about!
Again...it is great to meet you and I hope you truly enjoy my art as much as love putting it together.
- Where I'm from:
- I was born and raised in Ohio but I have lived most of my life now down South.
- About my Art:
- I seem to express my beliefs and wants through art. I believe the world has changed so much from the time I was a child...I believe the world should be at peace, everyone has the right to have Rights, and that we as a people have forgotten that life is short and that we as a people should be making things better for the children, and earth, and the human race. If we find we are not helping to better those things then we have ourselves become those things as they are now....My art expresses the things that I want people to think of, to remind people that change is good, especially when worked for.
For generations people have stood up to make those changes, my way of standing up is ART.

- I hope to be someday very soon....start selling some of my Art. I am trying to get a site going just for that...and a blog set up. I would love to one day know that someone has purchased something of mine for simple fact that it made a statement. And will forever, no matter where it is will always remind those to continue making the same statement for many generations to come.

Hello Everyone!I had to take some time lately, and get myself back together. Summer has been very hard and hetic around here. Remodeling the home, preparing for babies, and being ill has really taken a toll on myself and family for a while.
But.....I'M BACK!!!

I am pleased to find this group and it is exciting meet other artists that enjoy mixed media. I hope all the artists here will consider sending some work for the altered book show in Buffalo. We would like to have a representation from around the country!
