See what I've been missing... Idol Chat! Sheesh, Stace... I am going to have to adjust my priorities! :)

Well, I guess its all over now, but I'm with some of the rest of you, ladies... we LOVE David Cook... my husband cries every time DC cries and then I cry - GOOD LORD! pass the hankies! Anyhow, we were shocked that he won since it seemed that Simon (not to be confused with my husband!) was clearly telegraphing the network's desires to have Archie win... I'm glad that Cook's fans stuck with him he really seems like a gracious winner and I have to say, What a lovely young man - humility, talent, and grounded, too!

Yeah, but even though Simon said that, weeks ago he said that if it remains a talent competition & not a popularity contest, David Cook was clearly the winner.

I haven't seen DC doing the rounds of the talk shows yet, I'm looking forward to that.

And yeah, it was sweet & touching each time he got teary eyed.

Anybody remember the name of the band that did the song "Innocent"? I suppose I should look that up. Although he just sung a snippet on the show, the whole song sounds very U2 influenced, good song.

Jules- your priorities are fine. LOL. DH got me hooked into watching it & it's one of the few shows that we watch together.
